The Oxford Undergraduate’s Journal

Our large collection of bound student pamphlets and newspapers is a unique aspect of the Library. Recently, the Library Team has digitised editions of the Oxford Undergraduate’s Journal (1866-1881), which is being hosted on the Bodleian Libraries’ digitisation platform, Digital Bodleian. A pioneering student news publication, the Oxford Undergraduate’s Journal (from 1875 the ‘Oxford and Cambridge Undergraduate’s Journal’) offers a fascinating window into student life in Victorian England.
